After my first book FOR THE LOVE OF JAZZ was traditionally published, I decided to dip my toes into the self-publishing world. After all, all the cool and popular authors were doing it. Lol! Once I made the decision to self-publish, the Deadly Series was born starting with the first book in the series DEADLY [...]

Back in October, I shared the reason for changing my current book. The story had evolved into a series (a recent habit of mine). As I started working on the story, I recognized that my characters' gifts needed deeper development. Learn more about it in my appearance on the Open Door Podcast. This meant a [...]
The end of the year is here. My Christmas holidays were relaxing and also fun. I was able to spend quality time with my kids, but I also got time with myself as the kids were with their dad just after Christmas. During my time alone, I decided to do a little work, but not [...]

I've been quiet for the past few months due to some big changes in my personal life. I wasn't ready to share before, but I am now. LIFE UPDATE Single [...]
Summer is over. This might be a sad time for teachers, but for parents-especially those working from home-there are no sweeter words. My daughter started kindergarten this week, bringing in a new era. My baby is officially a student. I admit it. I cried a little. My son is clearly NOT thrilled that summer is [...]
