Saturday March 1st, marked a historical event is the life of my organization, CayWriters. We participated in our first event. Red Sky at Night is an annual event hosted by the Cayman National Cultural Foundation (CNCF).
Although there were a few hiccups, it was a successful start on the road to CayWriters participating in community events that will connect local readers and writers to Cayman authors. I’m excited about next year’s event and the upcoming 2nd annual HOME GROWN BOOK FAIR scheduled for September 2014.
The authors had an opportunity to read to an audience and sell their books to the public. Other than myself, the participating authors were:
