The last couple weeks I’ve been talking about goals, dreams and how to stay focused. Today I’m asking “What drives you daily? What keeps you focused on your dreams?”
For me it’s my daily 5. Curious? Here’s a link to Kelly L. Stone’s site, author of TIME TO WRITE, where I’m talking about my daily 5.
Check it out and tell me what your daily 5 would be. I’d love to hear it.
Hi Elke,
Your post was spot on. I tried to pick out which one resonated more with me for making progress with my writing goals but they all are so important.
We all need encouragement and that’s one of my favorites. Being part of a community, where you’re giving and getting love and encouragement is so awe inspiring.
I love ‘Study and File’ I think we become better writers the more we read, blog and learn. So key.
“Self care” is something I do every day. I didn’t use to but anyone who sits in front of a desk all day long knows the value of taking time to stay healthy. I walk every day 5-6 miles and I ‘try’ to eat healthy but still working on that one 🙂
‘Promotion’ has taken some real study and practice. Not always the most fun but as you mentioned, it’s so necessary.
Great post Elke & thanks 🙂
Liz
Thanks for your kind words, Liz!
I love to encourage people and share in their excitement at working towards their dreams.
Wow! 5-6 miles a day. I’m impressed! I manage about a quarter of that. 🙂
Promotion is a challenging one. Who knew it would be harder than writing and editing the book. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Liz! All the best with developing your daily 5 and accomplishing those writing goals!
