When I was in highschool, St. Patrick’s Day meant remembering to wear green, otherwise you’d get pinched by the boys. This was great for them, not so great for your butt, and any other body part they tried to pinch.
Once I reached the working world and adulthood, St. Patrick’s Day took on a whole new meaning. It meant going out to drink, party, and meeting sexy Irish guys, with accents that made my knees melt. I have a weakness for accents, especially Irish ones. Needless to say I dated a lot of Irishmen in my twenties, and Rugby players, but that’s another story. Now a days St. Patrick’s Day means participating in a fundraising walk or spending time with my family.
What does St.Patrick Day mean to you and how do you celebrate it?

Aww. Sorry to hear that, Wendy. Hope your luck changes.
St Patty’s day to me is not a big deal; but it’s a fun day. I enjoy dressing in green or finding a way to incorporate green in my outfit of the day. Usually will have some sort of green dish, too…but that’s about it.
Thanks!

I don’t really have any st. pat’s traditions.
We always have corned beef and cabbage and Irish coffees at my house…cliched, but fun!

Oh! I’m with you. I get weak in the knees, when it’s a good one.
My hubby is part irish so we go out and have some irish beer, enjoy the company of friends and overall have a great time!

I’d say same to you, Lily, but it sounds like you already did. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
It’s a day for fun and I always try some new Irish recipe, usually ones that include Guinness!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Great idea, Stacey! I’ll have to try that one next year, but minus the Guinness. The hubbie might like it, but not a great choice for the kids. 🙂
i haven’t been lucky in love yet
happy St Patrick’s day

Aww! That’s so sweet. Love that and the name Patrick. It’s the name of the hero in my book.
I don’t personally celebrate it, but my Irish relatives seem to have a lot of fun every year, judging by their Facebook posts.
YUP. It’s a big deal for the Irish. My friends use to drag me out (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it) each year. They’re all back in Ireland now, still enjoying their day.
We just wear a lot of green on Saint Patrick’s Day and haul out the shamrocks!! Thanks for the great giveaway and for joining the hop!!!!

I forgot my green this year, Ashley. Thankfully nobody pinched me. 🙂

We celebrate St Patrick’s Day by staying true to the spirit of St Patrick. I offer workshops/classes to youth groups about current day slavery. I hope that we can help eradicate our children being used as slaves.

WOW, Carla! Good for you. I wish you every success! Thanks for stopping by.
Corned Beef, cabbage and Guinness Yum.
Not keen on the Guinness, Lola, but I’d take the corned beef and cabbage. Thanks for stopping by.
St. Pattys day to me just reminds me I’m Irish on both sides of my family 🙂 Kind of cool! I don’t really celebrate it as all my family/friends live out of state! But I imagine if we all lived close we’d do the corned beef/cabbage/drinks/day of hanging out/partying 🙂
Hope you had a fantastic St. Patricks Day! Thanks for the giveaway!

Both sides? Wow, Chelsea! I’m only related through marriage, but they’re more American than Irish, so no corned beef/cabbage. I’m certain there’d be drinks and hanging out. 🙂 They live away from us too.
Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you for the chance!

What a great giveaway hop! I have yet to be lucky in love but I’m working on it. My favorite love book is “Outlander” by Diana Gabaldon. Jamie Fraser is amazing and beautiful. I enjoy St. Patty’s Day and this year I’m spending it with my best friend. We’re going to two Irish Pubs and also some dance clubs. I am also wearing green and am not a fan of getting pinched. I’m not Irish either, but many people think I am because my hair is red, my eyes green and my name is Meghan, but I’m not at all. I won’t be telling anybody that, however… let them believe I’m Irish.
Thanks for the giveaway!
